Meet The Goats!

I had started with 11 goats that came with the property and they had never been handled so were wild and partially feral. I wanted goats that I could handle so they'd be friendly pets that I could work with later on for milking. I decided to sell some of the herd, the wilder ones, and kept only Mama, her daughter Sandy, and Dottie who would at least let me pet their heads. Later on, I added Bootsie and his half-brother Winter to the fold, then finally Valentine who doesn't know a stranger! They are all sweet and want to sit in your lap or climb all over you for treats. :)

This is Mama, pictured on the right, the matriarch of the herd. She is best friends with Dottie.

This is Sandy, in the center, the daughter of Mama.

Here's sweet Valentine, my boer goat. She's a love-bug!

Next are my Nigerian Dwarf boys. The apples of my eye! First is Bootsie:

And finally, my bottle baby Winter, aka Boo-Boo
